General terms
- All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to [email protected]
- The cancellation is effective from the date and time your email is received.
- Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method.
- Processing times may vary by bank or payment provider.
- Date changes (rebookings) are free once per booking when requested at least 14 days in advance for standard tours, and 30 days for packages and group events. Subsequent date changes are subject to a small administration fee.
- In the event that Closer to Africa cancels your tour due to weather, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control, you are entitled to a full refund or a complimentary reschedule at your preference.
- Partial refunds for unused portions of multi-day tours are not available once a tour has commenced.
- Non-refundable deposits, where stated at booking, are excluded from the above refund percentages.
These terms apply to direct bookings with Closer to Africa. Bookings made through third-party agents or OTAs are subject to those platforms' own cancellation policies.
