Our unique framework for building regenerative tourism centres around the preservation & conservation of the most important elements, prioritising fragile living heritage over aesthetic assets. Our approach is not adopted from others but built from the ground up, in close collaboration with local stakeholders. This creates transformation which transmits to future generations.
Our Support in 3 Ways
We give back to our environments and communities in 3 direct ways.
3% Revenue Kick Back
We pledge a direct 3% of all revenue generated from walking tours which we disperse via registered conservation bodies and social enterprises.
100% Local Suppliers
We only use local resident suppliers in the areas we operate, this promotes economic and skills development in an holistic way and also lends towards growth within the local economy.
We Serve
We serve on local community boards and committees giving time and resource to create dialoge and collaborations aimed at overcoming current and future obstacles by working together.
Regenerative Tourism Goals (RTG)
Our RTG's relate our core values and the intentions we started out with. We use these to prioritise our focus and to help keep us on track with achieving developmental goals in a more natural way.
Conservation of Living & Cultural Heritage
To work at understanding the value and categories of intangible living heritage and to have a framework preserving this in the spaces they exist.
Promoting Economic Equality
To advocate for policy that promotes equal access and retains equity for indigenous locals within their place of birth.
Skills Development & Training
To identify critical skills and knowledge gaps. And to develop training modules and frameworks to address these, prioritising the youth.
Cultural Craft Preservation
To establish an artitisal guilds aimed at identifing valueble cultural skills in order to showcase them in an environment that lends to tourism and playing a part towards the preservation of valueble cultural craft and skills.
Housing Security
To collaborate with the public and private sectors advocating for the development of housing options for lower income families, and to promote the implementation of restrictions that protect spatial environments from exploitation.
Elevating Poverty
To work with and support local aid organisations in feeding schemes, identifying areas of need, and to build sustainable revenue streams and campaigns in order to support these.
Our Collaborators
By collaborating with organizations in areas where we have the most presence, we ensure that impact is understood and effectively offset through collaborative projects. These initiatives are aimed at the economic empowerment of previously disadvantaged communities while building frameworks for the preservation of cultural heritage.
